Storyline Zoolander 2
This movie was awesome. Personally, I think it was overdue and should have been made years ago when the concept and comedy of Zoolander was still in people's heads. The jokes and one-liners were right on par with those in the first one, acting from the MAIN ACTORS was spot-on, and I laughed my balls off. We went on a Friday night in an empty theater, so I don't know how a big theater crowd would react, but I loved it. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson fell right back into character perfectly and were very funny. Kyle Mooney was hilarious, I wish he had a larger part. Will Ferrell was decent, his performance started out strong, but got out of hand towards the end. Fred Armisen could have been funny, but fell a little flat. Kristen Wiig was deece.

This movie is a success on so many levels that it is hard to do it justice in a short review, but here goes. Superficially, the film is a light-hearted comedy about the foibles of people in the 1950s Hollywood film industry, which are just glamorized, larger-than-life sins and failings of humans in general - immorality, stupidity, intoxication and the like - magnified by dramatic nature of the movie trade and the secondary, parasitic gossip-publication industry. The real genius of "Hail, Caesar," however, is the way the surface narrative is intricately and artfully interwoven with one of the central struggles of 20th Century history, in a way that is subtle yet deeply moving. This struggle, which continues today, is the battle for the hearts and minds of mankind, a battle between the god of the Almighty Secular State (in this movie, Soviet Communism) and the God of the Bible. The protagonist, Baird Whitlock (played by George Clooney), is an actor kidnapped by a communist cell and held for ransom. He is almost swayed to the communist cause by the persuasive rants of the various cell members (including the detestable Professor Herbert Marcuse, who was a real-life American professor with an incredibly potent, destructive legacy). The "fixer" who works for Whitlock's studio (Eddie Mannix, played brilliantly by Josh Brolin) recovers Whitlock and literally slaps the commie nonsense out of him, restoring him to productive sanity. The three minutes in the movie where a rabbi, a Catholic priest, an Eastern Orthodox priest, and a Protestant minister debate the acceptability of the movie studio's depiction of Christ is comedy gold. Do not miss this movie, especially if you were born after 1970!

I think this movie was really genuine in the sense that the ending wasn't too cliché, it was real. Though some parts of this movie's comedy was over dramatized (not a bad thing) the romance part was super real and it gave you a real punch in the face of reality. The movie revolved around a few characters and how their lives were connected though not the main point of the story. The point of the story or what I got from it was to find yourself and that life doesn't always go the way you want it to go. There was some parts of the movie where I just got frustrated because I wanted someone to end up with someone else, but that doesn't happen in life. this movie actually shows that not everyone's in a relationship and the romance movie does really show you "How to be single" (and happy).

Let's first start with how epic this action movie is. As soon as the movie starts, we are already in the middle of a battle. The movie didn't waste anytime getting into full swing. After the battle we get introduced to the one and only Ulton voiced by the amazing James Spader who did an amazing job with the character making him menacing and intimidating. My favorite hero in this movie had to be Scarlet Witch who's powers were amazing to watch especially in 3D. The movie was definitely darker toned than the last Avengers which made it even more enjoyable to see something different in a Marvel movie. Part of me wishes we were able to see the flacon in the final battle. Speaking of the final battle, I loved what they did with the final battle stage. It was definitely different than most final battle stages in a Marvel movie.
